Bishop Stephen Marmion Lowe, serves as our Patron

The Catholic Bishop of Auckland, Bishop Stephen Marmion Lowe, serves as our Patron. Born on August 3, 1962, Bishop Lowe is a New Zealand prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He was appointed as the twelfth Bishop of Auckland by Pope Francis on December 18, 2021, succeeding Bishop Patrick Dunn. Before his current role in Auckland, he was the Bishop of Hamilton, New Zealand. In addition to his episcopal duties, Bishop Lowe holds the positions of Vice President and Secretary of the NZ Catholic Bishops Conference. He represents the bishops on Te Rūnanga o te Hāhi Katorika ō Aotearoa, the national Māori advisory group of the Church. He also serves on various committees, including the National Safeguarding and Professional Standards Committee.
